Jie and Andy’s love story began when Jie decided it was time to move back to her hometown of Seattle and Andy, decides to go where the wind takes him and as luck would have it the winds blew him into the Emerald City. After adopting her dog Pacey, Jie decides she needs a more conversational companion than Pacey and posts her profile. At the same time, Andy posts his profile looking for new friends in this unfamiliar city of Seattle. A month later, in March of 2014, Andy messages Jie and they meet for coffee. Fast forward to November 2015 Andy asks Jie to Marry him and then the big day last September 2016 which began their next chapter as husband and wife as they married on the lawns outside Pacific Tower and celebrated in the Panoramic Room!
