As Sirui & Abby shared their first look among the orchard at Chateau Lill
, all of the hassle and bustle of the morning dissipated as they were together. Later that July afternoon guests arrived to a pre-ceremony cocktail hour, featuring a tasting bar showcasing local beer & wine along with tray-passed appetizers by Kaspars
. With the ceremony soon approaching loved ones moved to the upper gardens where vows would be shared. For their ceremony Sirui and Abby, along with their parents, grandparents and officiant, made their way to the center island as their bridal party, friends and family watched from across the pond. Following the ceremony, officiated by the Best Man, guests were treated to a second cocktail hour by the gazebo and upper pond. As the summer sunshine continued, guests partook in lawn games (bocce ball, corn hole & horse shoes) and refreshments. When the dinner hour struck, loved ones made their way to the tent which featured a color palette of muted sage, blush and plum accented by bright blooms and the glow of mercury candles. Wanting an interactive dinner Abby and Sirui choose a variety of food stations and mixed seating alternating between traditional rounds, wine barrels and tall cocktail tables. The rest of the evening was filled with heartfelt toasts, wedding cake, dancing with The Nines and capturing a selfie in the polaroid guestbook station or popping in the photo booth! One of the highlights of the night was a performance on DeLille’s baby grand piano by talented one of their Groomsmen. As the night came to an end Kaspars brought out late-night snacks (sliders & fries and New Orleans-style beignets) before friends and family cheered them on with a sparkler send-off as the Newlyweds drove off in a Tesla.
Andrea was so well organized and we felt so relieved putting our day-of planning in her hands…Andrea was on top of everything… It felt like she was everywhere she needed to be at any given time, I can’t imagine we could have pulled this off without her. Yes, it was probably some of the best money we spent on the wedding. ~ Abby

We love fabulous wedding images and Sierra and Jordan’s Chateau Lill Wedding images from Alexandra Knight Photography did not disappoint! A stunning color palette and floral, paired with the rustic garden venue, made for one beautiful wedding day! As guests arrived for the ceremony the sounds of Yo-Yo Ma filled the gardens which featured wine barrels adorned with lanterns and floral wreaths. After the I Do’s, guests enjoyed cocktail hour by the pond, until the clouds opened in true Seattle style, encouraging guests to proceed to the reception tent by the Chateau. Long guest tables were decorated with long garlands and candles. To pull in the winery, escort cards were secured with a collection of wine corks. Following a full buffet dinner featuring short ribs and mahi mahi, toasts by friends and family, cake-cutting and first dances, guests filled the dance floor as hit the stage. One of our favorite pieces of Sierra and Jordan’s wedding day included their desire to give back; from the blankets for their guests to use throughout the night that were later donated to the homeless to notes letting guests know that in lieu of favors, the couple had donated to Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. As an event planner the greatest accomplishment is creating an event that truly speaks to your client and leaves a long lasting memory for both the guests and the host. When I received a call from Kathy she had recently lost her husband and was not sure she wanted a Celebration of Life but knew that this was something she needed to do for their family, friends and colleagues as they were asking for closure. With less than two months of lead time, a lot for a Celebration of Life, and knowing he was a sharp dresser, a seeker of fine shoes and nice ties and enjoyed a good scotch I set forth planning a Celebration of Life that would allow eighty five loved ones a chance to celebrate his life and enjoy a night of only the finest as that is what Steve would have wanted!
As the night came to an end one could not have found a better way to pay tribute. From the shoe shine station to ensure guests left with a better pair of shoes to bars featuring his private collection of single scotch malt whiskey served by an man in a kilt to a menu showcasing his favorite foods and not to mentioned a display of his prized shoes asking; Cinderfella if the shoe fits, wear it home. Not a detail was missed.
As the planner of this celebration I took pride in knowing that I had done my absolute best to honor a man that I had never met in person. When I first met with my client, there were no plans beyond a venue, a date and a desired caterer and she trusted me to become the guidance and vision she needed to pull off this event. Through planning with his wife and speaking with his treasured friends and family I couldn’t help but feel that I knew him in every sense and showcased a life that most only dream of fulfilling.
…I simply have no words! …I will gush in a much more professional manner when I’ve had some sleep. It was truly the nicest, loveliest, beautiful, and meaningful party I have ever been to. The feedback from attendees and vendors was so positive. You have done a superb job and Ravan represented you and your company to the highest degree. ~ Kathy
